While some of them were not as impressive as others, here are the best stage outfits worn by solo K-Pop idols in 2021. Please note that in this article we will be mentioning solo K-Pop idols who in our opinion, wore outstanding stage outfits for specific comebacks and stages. All comebacks of the year and all the stage outfits of one comeback are NOT included.
1. WonHo - ‘Come Over Tonight’, ‘Lose’ & ‘Blue’
WonHo doesn’t just impress with his remarkably soothing vocals, his chart-topping albums, or his incredible stage performance, the idol also sends waves of shock and excitement with his iconic stage outfits. His outfits selection has always accentuated the killer points of his striking visuals and his impeccable physique. This year, every outfit he wore for his stage performances of hit songs ‘Lose’, ‘Blue’, and ‘Come Over Tonight’ made a statement and thrilled our hearts, we could literally add all the outfits he wore on stage this year but there won’t be enough space to cover them all.
2. EXO’s Kai - ‘Peaches’
Radiant, stunning, charming, delicate yet so appealing and sexy. EXO’s Kai has always been known for his keen sense of fashion and often makes waves for his style but this year, he took it a step further by showing off a softer yet elegant, mature, and sexy side of him. Flowing seamlessly with the theme of his title track ‘Peaches’ he choose soft colors and designs that made him look so magical and prince-like, accentuating his incredible physique and stunning visuals.
3. Kim WooJin - ‘Ready Now’
Kim WooJin looked as charismatic and captivating as ever in this blue semi-cropped top piece accessorized with loose ropes during his solo debut stage. He is ‘Ready Now’ to showcase his remarkable vocal talents and stage performances, the whole concept of the look fits the “Breaking Free” theme of his song and he did not just take our breaths away with his performance but also with this art piece of an outfit.
4. SunMi - ‘Tail’
SunMi was the epitome of perfection and appeal during her comeback stage performances for her iconic song ‘Tail’. Leather was her signature look for her stages as she served variations and colors of the style. Like a captivating and alluring Catwoman, she stole our hearts in her stylish outfits.
5. Jeon SoMi - ‘XOXO’
She understood the assignment. For her stage performance of her song ‘XOXO’, the new princess of K-Pop gave us different jaw-dropping stylish moments this year with her stage outfits. She looked sensationally good and impressive in every outfit she wore on stage and we cannot wait to see how she ups the ante with her next comeback performances.
6. Jessi - ‘What Type Of X’
Jessi is a fashion icon and regardless of ‘What Type Of X’ people think she is, her style influence and creative range know no bounds. She looked so refreshingly cool and sexy on stage this year. Truly a different type of beast, bold, energetic, daring cuts and patterns, Jessi gave us iconic looks that perfectly matched her personality and charm.
7. SHINee’s TaeMin - ‘Advice’
SHINee’s TaeMin took fashion and stage outfits to a whole new level giving fans and viewers an elevated experience of what it truly feels like to witness an incredible stage performance. Every K-Pop idol needs to seek Taemin’s ‘Advice’ on how to deliver an iconic stage look because everything about his stage performances screamed perfection and each outfit was as awe-inspiring as it was remarkable and iconic. A true masterpiece in our books.
8. MAMAMOO’s HwaSa - ‘I’m a B’
MAMAMOO HwaSa’s stage outfits have always been iconic since her debut and this year holds no surprise to that fact. While we expect the obvious which is, “HwaSa will always deliver fashion moments” we were frankly beyond impressed by her outfit for her stage performance of her latest lead single ‘I’m a B’ off her new single album “Guilty Pleasure”. Her style is already so iconic and seeing her consistently deliver great outfits on stage adds to that extra special appeal that makes HwaSa well HWASA!
9. BLACKPINK’s Lisa - ‘La Lisa’
Her name is ‘La Lisa’ and we are officially obsessed! The swagger and confidence that are amplified by this outfit don’t go unnoticed. She looked so stylish and trendy in this bandana pattern design and this fluffy two-piece. Flawless makeup, stunning designs, stylish hairstyle, no one does iconic looks like BLACKPINK’s Lisa and these stage outfits are definitely one for the books.
10. INFINITE’s Nam WooHyun - ‘Calm & Passion’
INFINITE’s Nam WooHyun never looked less than superb, especially during the stage performances of ‘Calm & Passion’. His looks are always well put together in a way that projects his personality. Classic, easy, comfy, soft yet powerful, his style is often not as loud as many other idols but still just as captivating, appealing, and exciting.
11. ChungHa - ‘Bicycle’
For the ‘Bicycle’ stage performances, ChungHa carried through with her tradition of serving incredibly stylish looks that make fans and viewers marvel in awe and appreciation. CL was simply iconic during her stage performance of her hit song ‘Tie A Cherry’. Big Furry boots, huge oversized jackets, bright colors, she looked so captivating and stunning in this outfit.

15. SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi - ‘Spider’
SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi gave a dazzling performance with the song ‘Spider’ during his solo debut stage. The idol looked just as enchanting as we expected following suit with his iconic music video of the hit song. Glittering tops and jackets, leather pants, stunning makeup, and silver hair, a sense of mystery and magic could be attributed to the stage outfits and we must say, we were intrigued.
16. SHINee’s Key - ‘Yellow Tape’ & ‘Bad Love’
For his stage performances of ‘Yellow Tape’ and ‘Bad Love’, SHINee Key’s outfits were iconic fashion pieces that brought together his whole performance and made it an all-around entertaining experience for viewers and fans.
